Job Summary:

The Financial Analyst II is part of a top-tier finance and analytics team which supports business leaders and executives in their efforts to make decisions to implement strategies and operational improvements that enhance the Company’s performance. This individual should be a self-starter who works with high intensity and integrity, dives deep into data to find the root cause of problems, be effective communicating with senior leaders in the organization, and has a passion for excellence.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and maintain financial reports to clearly communicate actual results, forecasted performance, and variances to plan
  • Perform deep-dive analytics to provide insight and understanding of core business drivers
  • Create models, forecasts, and analysis for strategic initiatives and/or rebuild existing modeling for improved efficiencies
  • Utilize analytical skills to sift through data and find trends or key drivers that tell a story about financial or operational results
  • Prepare senior executive level presentation materials
  • Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and variance analysis, as well as the budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Drive continual process improvement leveraging best practices, standardization, and automation to scale the business

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Proficient in SQL and Cube based reporting a plus
  • Ability to understand and present the story behind the data and the model in PowerPoint and Email
  • Strong ability to utilize various reporting, finance, and analytics tools
  • Motivated, self-starter; ability to accomplish goals independently
  • Strong attention to detail and first run reporting accuracy
  • Ability to thrive on both structured and unstructured project requests
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a drive to deliver results
  • Demonstrable problem-solving, quantitative and analytical skills
  • Articulate and well-spoken; strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

Training and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related field)
  • 3+ years of applicable finance and/or accounting experience
