Job Summary:

This position will provide support to the day-to-day operations of benefits and wellness programs. Our ideal candidate is a natural go-getter, hands on, and has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while taking pride in attention to detail and delivering excellent service levels. This individual will have an opportunity to:

  • Provide an exceptional employee experience assisting with benefits enrollment and inquiries
  • Support the day to day administration of the benefits and wellness programs
  • Identify improvement to existing processes and procedures to drive excellence

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with the administration of various benefits programs including but not limited to: health, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, disability, life insurance, 401(k), and wellness initiatives
  • Manage the employee ticketing system, addressing associate inquiries on benefits programs and enrollment questions
  • Review benefits enrollment, employee status, and life event changes; partner with payroll to ensure deduction accuracy for all associates
  • Verify the calculation of monthly premium statements for all insurance policies and resolve any discrepancies
  • Provide ongoing support for benefits and HR teams, other departments, management and senior leadership as requested
  • Present recommendations for the development and improvement of workflow for benefit business processes

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in benefits and wellness programs
  • Ability to quickly navigate multiple HR systems and platforms, UltiPro experience a plus
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related business field preferred
  • Experience in a multi-state 500+ employee insurance, financial, or service industry office environment is desirable
  • Knowledge of federal laws and regulations related to the administration of benefit programs
  • Strong interpersonal skills, organizational communication skills and conflict resolution techniques
  • Proven ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Ability to be both proactive and flexible, with strong time management skills
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and other MS Office programs
