Job Summary:

This position will provide support to the day-to-day operations of compensation programs.   • Provide exceptional support to and partner with the business to achieve strategic compensation objectives
  • Support the day to day administration of compensation programs and drive equality and consistency within the organization
  • Identify improvement to existing processes and procedures to drive excellence and efficiencies

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Administer compensation programs including annual merit increases, annual bonus plans, long term incentives, and pay for performance practices.
  • Compile and audit survey data for salary benchmarking with third party administrator; gather and analyze external compensation data to assess results and identify market trends.
  • Benchmark internal jobs to salary survey data and other market intelligence to determine salary ranges, geographical premiums, and market competitiveness
  • Conduct internal salary analysis on incumbents and candidates to ensure equity among peers, risk mitigation, and to resolve compensation challenges
  • Present recommendations for the development and improvement of workflow for benefit business processes
  • Prepare and maintain job descriptions for each role within the organization; ensure job documentation accurately reflects duties and functions being performed by incumbents in the roles
  • Partner with managers and employees to accurately determine duties, skills, and responsibilities required in each role; ensure consistency with job leveling and FLSA exemption
  • Provide ongoing support for compensation and HR teams, other departments, management and senior leadership as requested

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years’ experience of compensation administration and analysis
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related business field
  • Ability to quickly navigate multiple HR systems and platforms, UltiPro experience a plus
  • Knowledge of federal laws and regulations related to the administration of compensation programs
  • Strong interpersonal skills, organizational communication skills and conflict resolution techniques
  • Experience in a multi-state 500+ employee insurance, financial, or service industry office environment is desirable
  • Proven ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Ability to be both proactive and flexible, with strong time management skills
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and other MS Office programs
