Job Summary:

In this position, you will report to the Sr. Director of Lifecycle Marketing at SelectQuote. This team is responsible for lead generation and nurturing new customer opportunities throughout the lifecycle, using direct-to-consumer marketing in email, SMS, direct mail and call programs. Additionally, this team is responsible customer relationship management, managing programs for existing customers that increase retention and customer loyalty and lifetime value.

Essential Functions:

  • Serves as the owner and administrator of SelectQuote’s marketing automation platform, Iterable.
  • Responsible for the implementation and management of the platform, inclusive of development roadmap, CRM integration, development of data dictionary and detailed business logic to deliver addressable leads from our CRM to the automation platform.
  • Manages all technical aspects of SelectQuote’s marketing automation platform with support from vendor partners as needed.
  • Works with the Lifecycle Marketing teams to manage campaign execution, inclusive of workflow automation build in Iterable, template creation, content generation, workflow testing, and QA.
  • Supports strategy development with insights from existing automation and blast campaign performance
  • Responsible for weekly intra-team reporting, as well as recurring monthly deliverables for the executive team highland project management of marketing campaigns.
  • Establishes and maintains scalable processes that ensure best practices in campaign and lead management.
  • Partners with the Data Analyst to create and maintain metrics reports on Marketing and Business Development activities, effectiveness and business impact.
  • Research support documentation to find answers for any task that users are not able to perform with the marketing automation system.
  • Seeks to support alignment with SelectQuote business objectives with marketing automation strategies and tactics.
  • Evaluates new technologies and add-on applications to improve and optimize marketing team performance.
  • Responsible for marketing automation quality standards, from design rendering to email functionality and list management.
  • Maintains standards for email deliverability, and to ensure segmentation standards are met through various content types.
  • Train SelectQuote associates on how to use SelectQuote’s marketing automation platform, including best practices.
  • Partner with SelectQuote lifecycle marketing team members to:
    • Setup trigger-based campaigns
    • Send nurture emails at specific interval
    • Assist in developing lead scoring model for CLM
    • Create/modify targets, goals other business and campaign specific metrics.
    • Maintain and grow healthy audience lists
    • Utilize audience segmentation and targeting strategies for email and SMS communications utilizing dynamic content and CRM database
    • Assist with reporting on KPIs and key CLM performance metrics such as open, click-through, and conversion rate
  • Serve as primary marketing automation platform support resource for internal associates.
  • Partners with Web Development team to integrate Iterable into key SelectQuote web properties for use in trigger-based lifecycle marketing campaigns.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Five or more years of experience working in Marketing Automation
  • Extensive experience and proficiency working SQL-based data structures
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills
  • Has extensive experience in and is excited and eager to engage in weekly performance reviews to tell the story of marketing automation value creation for the company
  • Is hungry and eager to participate in leadership sessions requiring presentation material that is prepared in advance
  • Is skilled at navigating highly complex data structures and being able to equally effectively communicate with data owners as well as business leaders in need of that data
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing and leadership skills
