Job Summary:

The goal of the SelectQuote internship program is to provide an opportunity to develop industry-related knowledge, and enhance skills that are transferable to any type of professional setting. No matter what your skills and professional experience, a SelectQuote internship is a chance to develop them even further. For this reason, along with the day to day intern duties, SelectQuote interns will work together on a multitude of special projects, community events, and fun activities throughout the duration of the internship program. The balance of the day-to-day work, along with diverse projects and community involvement, will provide our interns with a well-rounded learning experience that will enhance their overall professional development.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, positive marketing intern to join our search engine marketing team. This individual is hungry to learn, highly adaptable, and motivated to succeed. The Digital Marketing Analyst Intern will work directly with the Paid Search and SEO marketing teams, gaining hands-on experience through a variety of projects. They will learn about how SelectQuote measures performance, what key performance indicators are important, and how to work within backend databases and tables. This individual should be hungry to learn, adaptable, detail orientated and highly motivated. This is a paid position.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily performance reporting
  • Deep dives into specific performance questions
  • Qualitative and quantitative analysis of campaigns
  • Extensive work in SQL and Excel to generate presentation-ready reports
  • Work with other analysts to develop SQL skill set
  • Learn back end database and understand data storage locations
  • Perform campaign analysis with market-leading research tools
  • Develop new analytics and new reports to help stakeholders and business leaders make decisions
  • Work directly with Google and Bing account management teams
  • Attend relevant meetings with the Paid Search and SEO teams

What You Need to be Successful:

  • Has a self-starter attitude with a high level of motivation
  • Ability to adapt and use new technologies in the workplace
  • High level of attention to detail while providing accurate data
  • Familiarity with coding (such as SQL, SAS, SPSS, etc…) and working within databases

Qualifications:

  • Availability starting May 2022 - August 2022
  • Currently enrolled in Junior or Senior year of college/university
  • Degree focused in Marketing, Business, Finance, Mathematics or related field
