Job Summary:

The Senior Vice President of Sales is responsible for helping to meet the company’s revenue, profit and sales goals in the Senior Division. This position will direct and oversee all aspects of the sales teams including performance benchmarking, performance management strategies, and training, In addition, this role works closely with other department leaders and division executives across the SelectQuote Senior division to meet the company’s goals.

Essential Functions:

  • Accountable for delivering against daily sales targets
  • Use data to drive decision making
  • Effectively work with Directors, Regional Manager, and Workforce Management to set proper staffing goals that maximize division ROI on Marketing [Rev / CAC]
  • Build and maintain strong intercompany business relationships with other key strategic stakeholders ranging from VP of Customer Experience and Director of fulfillment operations
  • Schedule meetings with key stakeholders as needed to resolve issues that may arise, get buy-in, and deliver updates
  • Create a positive and innovative environment within the division
  • Work hand-in-hand with the recruitment and training team to ensure that recruiting targets are met with high quality standards and to minimize attrition of new agents
  • Develop and encourage company culture, team building and employee career development through coaching, mentoring and leadership.
  • Work closely with Regional Leadership, Sales Managers, and trainers in the development and implementation of effective sales scripts, sales techniques and workflow processes
  • Ensure all company policies and procedures are consistently adhered to
  • Participate in agent evaluations, coaching and discipline
  • Coordinate with IT on tech roll-outs for teams

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a positive and competitive office environment by assisting the sales management team promote daily, weekly, and monthly sales contests
  • Collaborate with Workflow to maintain agents’ schedules, breaks and lunch requirements
  • Assist in time sheets, approve handles and document all requests for PTO

Training and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10+ years of sales management experience
  • 10+ years of sales experience
  • Proven experience as both a player and a coach – ability to execute while also leading and influencing others
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver against budgeted sales targets and metrics
