The SelectQuote Web Project Manager is a strong leader with a passion for driving website enhancements through A/B testing as well as competitive analysis. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, result oriented self-starter who is extremely detailed and organized. As a Web Project Manager, you will lead the life-cycle of web enhancements and A/B testing initiatives involving relevant stakeholders and resources to deliver website enhancements and/or A/B tests on time and in a quality manner. You work well with web designers to develop enhancements and/or new web functionality concepts. In addition, you are skilled at working with developers to effectively communicate business requirements and to provide direction and support throughout the project lifecycle.

We are looking for someone who is highly knowledgeable in the field of website project management who has demonstrated their ability to determine enhancements, identify optimization/testing opportunities and manage the associated project requirements. The individual should be experienced in working along technical resources to deliver best in class lead generation and/or eCommerce website experiences.

This position will report directly to the Director of Web Operations and will lead all web enhancement initiatives from the identification of enhancements to development of business requirements to the delivery of the enhancement. As the Web Project Manager, you will support SelectQuote branded and non-branded websites, across all 3 divisions: Life Insurance, Medicare Insurance, Auto/Home insurance.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with division leaders and web team to understand website enhancement needs and areas of opportunity
  • Understand website data and analyze online user behavior to determine areas of opportunity for A/B and/or multivariate testing
  • Conduct competitive website assessments and use learning to drive enhancement strategy
  • Determine, communicate and own the web enhancement list developing a prioritized view for each division as well as an overall Marketing view
  • Partner with key stakeholders to develop, design and implement new A/B tests
  • Manage the scope and objectives of all web projects from conception to launch, involving relevant stakeholders as needed and working alongside designers and development resources
  • Write business requirements that clearly describe web enhancement initiatives
  • Establish and communicate tasks, milestone dates and project status to meet deliverables on time and in a quality manner
  • Work with content writers to develop new web pages as well as oversee the Compliance process related to web content
  • Facilitate quality assurance testing on web projects
  • Partner with the Web team and other stakeholders to ensure A/B tests and enhancements go live on time
  • Participate in website releases to ensure enhancements are delivered per project requirements

Training and Experience:

  • 2+ years’ experience managing website enhancements and/or projects
  • Experience maintaining multiple projects at a time
  • Experience working with web designers and developers to manage websites
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and influencing skills required
  • Critical thinker with an ability to apply data and analytics to drive decision making and impact marketing analytics required
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration or related field preferred
  • Skilled with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Google Analytics or other Analytics certification preferred
  • Experience with lead generation and form best practices preferred
  • Knowledge of website analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics preferred
  • Experience with Content Management Systems, such as WordPress, preferred
