SelectRX is a high touch, technology-driven specialized medication management pharmacy. We engage virtually with patients to ensure accurate prescription records are maintained in order to achieve improved prescription drug adherence. SelectRX does this by providing a personalized clinical approach driven by a robust technology platform to track adherence with a world-class pharmaceutical packing and distribution facility.

The Pharmacy Coordinator role is one of the most essential parts to the pharmacies’ success. The Coordinator makes outbound calls to doctors and pharmacies requesting electronic transfer of our new patients medications to Selectrx. Typical calls involve speaking with doctors, nurses, pharmacists to help with the electronic transfer of medications to our pharmacy.

Essential Functions:

  • Make outbound calls to doctors, and pharmacies requesting electronic transfer of patient medications
  • Clarifying patient medications, either by reaching out to their Doctor, or verifying with the patient
  • Document all patient calls in notes for future reference and tracking
  • Follow-up with customers or expediting calls to the appropriate channels
  • Work with other team members including pharmacists, data entry technicians, etc.
  • Participating in educational activities and attending monthly staff meetings
  • Transfer phone calls to pharmacists when needed for medication transfers in certain situations
  • Working with our internal CRM and other proprietary software


  • Must be 18+ years old. High school diploma/ or GED equivalent required
  • Background in phone sales or call center experience
  • Must have a strong work ethic, driven individual
  • Possess good organizational and time-management skills
  • Demonstrates appropriate written and oral communication skills
  • Passion for helping others improve outcomes and quality of care
  • Ability to handle a high degree of call volume and work under pressure
  • Understand and maintains confidentiality regarding patient medications and illnesses (HIPAA)
  • Knowledge and understanding of pharmacy clinical software system and customer relationship management system
  • Self motivated, driven individual, who is always looking to succeed
  • Ability to be coachable and take constructive feedback
  • Being adaptable and being able to change with the companies needs
