As the SelectQuote Click Network Marketing Manager, you are a strong leader who is passionate about the digital media landscape. We are looking for someone who is knowledgeable about driving traffic to websites via affiliate / 3rd party click networks using cost-per-click traffic on vendor sites such as Quinstreet, MediaAlpha or Everquote to name a view. The goal is to drive the best traffic to SelectQuote sites that converts to the most profitable leads and sales. We are looking for someone to manage budgets, lead and sales goals and profitability for these marketing campaigns across all 3 divisions: life insurance, Medicare insurance, auto, and home insurance. The best fit for this position is someone who loves numbers, is analytical, competitive and loves learning, improving and challenging themselves every day. The Click Network Marketing Manager will be a thought leader and innovator in the click network space, working to grow this channel among all our divisions.


The Click Network Marketing Manager is responsible for managing budgets, lead and sales goals and that campaigns are profitable. This position is responsible for managing all click network initiatives for SelectQuote; one of the country’s preeminent national insurance brokerages. The Manager will work with internal team members to track and optimize campaign data, budgets and goals for click campaigns and external vendors. All campaigns will be dedicated to generating high quality leads for a fast growing team of insurance agents while meeting aggressive marketing performance and ROI goals.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all click network marketing efforts across 3 divisions (life, Medicare, auto and home). Directly responsible for growing lead volume and improving vendor performance
  • Manage daily tasks for vendors including budget management, lead and sales goals, campaign optimization, new campaign identification and general performance improvement
  • Oversee external vendor relationships for click vendors. Hold vendors accountable for key performance metrics, pushing for improved performance and hitting deadlines and goals
  • Work with content teams to create content that drives click network performance including ads, landing pages and new media opportunities as identified
  • Own performance for campaigns and initiatives. Hold vendors accountable for driving lead generation and optimizing allocated budget. Challenge vendors on how to improve
  • Conduct research and competitive analysis to inform plans and tactics, stay best in class with competitors and innovative in the affiliate marketing space
  • Coordinate, collaborate and own A/B testing efforts including pages, forms and websites to maximize form conversion and improve cost per lead across vendors
  • Analyze & generate daily and monthly marketing reports as well as provide recommendations on strategies to optimize and improve performance using Analytics data
  • Participate as a thought-leader by sharing knowledge and best practices with the digital team, leadership and business unit teams
  • Collaborate with division leaders and others on the marketing team to ensure all marketing initiatives and messaging are consistent and aligned with company and division goals

Qualifications

  • Experienced with managing PPC, CPC or affiliate traffic for large organizations. Proven track record of driving revenue and ROI using affiliates. Specific experience in CPC networks, or PPC channels preferred (Adwords, Bing, display etc)
  • Highly analytical. Experience managing a budget with traffic and lead/sales expectations
  • Experience in affiliate best practices (data/CPL leads, click networks, email campaigns)
  • Familiar and experienced with tools such as MediaAlpha, Quinstreet, CJ Affiliate and other large players in the affiliate network space. Able to pull reporting from vendor platforms as needed and lead discussions with account managers
  • Ability to analyze and understand large sums of data
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to implement changes rapidly that positively impact marketing performance
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask
  • Highly motivated, resourceful and self-directed with the ability to deliver under pressure
  • Ability to be detailed oriented while seeing trends, themes and macro-impacts
  • Strong knowledge base of the overall online and digital marketing realm and best practices

Training and Experience

  • 1-3 years’ experience managing marketing campaigns with budget and ROI goals required
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and influencing skills required
  • Critical thinker with an ability to apply data and analytics to drive decision making and impact marketing analytics required
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration or related field preferred
  • Skilled with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Google Analytics or other Analytics certification preferred
  • Experience managing ROI driven campaigns, not just brand or engagement required. Lead generation and optimizing to sale experience preferred.
  • Experience with lead generation and form best practices preferred
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, learn quickly and independently preferred
  • Able to manage multiple campaigns, vendors and accounts while managing a budget
  • Agency experience preferred
