This sales position is production based in which the specialist sells final expense insurance, term life insurance, and other ancillary insurance products to inbound leads. The specialist will need various sales attributes: ability to overcome sales objections, competitive analysis, knowledge of underwriting process, ability to learn and master SelectQuote’s processes and procedures.

Essential Functions:

  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets
  • Handle high volume of inbound leads and some outbound leads
  • Provide follow-up calls, emails and online chat
  • Participate in departmental meetings
  • Build and maintain customer relationships
  • Be proactive about continuing education and training
  • Close new accounts by interacting with customers, primarily via telephone and email
  • Make daily outbound calls and write emails to clients and prospective clients
  • Provide exceptional customer service and form strong client relationships

Training and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
  • Previous call center experience preferred, but not required
