Job Summary:

The Director of Paid Media role is responsible for the execution of Paid Social and Programmatic Display & Video campaigns for growing marketing team. This person will support acquisition efforts across our Medicare, Life and Auto & Home divisions and will work closely with divisional leaders to grow acquisition through digital media channels.


  • Lead the Paid Media team through strategy development, launch, and testing / optimization plans across paid social, programmatic display and digital video campaigns (excluding paid search)
  • Develop and lead digital acquisition strategies for our Senior, Life, and Auto & Home divisions within SelectQuote
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver channel forecasts, testing plans and deliver on goals
  • Work closely with subject matter experts across SEO, Paid Search, Analytics, Affiliate and Web Development
  • Work closely with our internal analytics department to develop reporting that informs strong campaign insights and improved channel performance

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Prior experience managing a team and providing professional coaching, mentorship and direction
  • Proven track record at driving results in paid social media advertising, especially Facebook / Instagram, and have a strong aptitude for executing aggressive platform testing across creatives, audiences and ad types
  • Experience managing programmatic display and video campaigns both through self-service and managed service engagements
  • Strong business acumen that goes beyond basic digital KPIs and extends into business outcomes and driving revenue growth
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Able to derive insights from data and make recommendations for adjustments based on insights
  • Highly motivated, resourceful and self-directed with the ability to deliver under pressure
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Training and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising or Business Management preferred
  • Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • 3-5 years of in Facebook Business Manager, Blueprint Certification preferred
  • 2-5 years of management experience
  • Google Analytics experience and certification preferred
