Job Summary:

SelectQuote is looking for a smart and resourceful Digital Marketing Analyst to drive positive business outcomes using web analytics (Google Analytics), channel data (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, SEO, etc.) and business performance data. This individual would partner closely with the leaders in the Digital Marketing organization to provide insights, deliver data visualization and weigh in on strategy. The Digital Marketing Analyst would work across all SelectQuote lines of business, including Life, Medicare and Auto & Home.

As the Digital Marketing Analyst, you will support SelectQuote’s digital marketing team to produce stronger campaign optimizations and website experiences. You will be responsible for building omni-channel campaign reports and making recommendations on our Google Analytics profile and tagging setup. The ideal candidate is someone who is deeply curious and motivated to enable data-informed decision making.

Essential Functions:

  • Work to optimize our Google Analytics profile setup, conversion tracking and campaign tagging
  • Evaluate and visualize Google Analytics data, layering it on top of business data
  • Utilizing data visualization platforms (i.e. Tableau, PowerBI, Amazon QuickSite), to showcase campaign performance and tell a story using performance and business data
  • Translate data analysis into business and marketing optimization recommendations
  • Utilize SQL to query business data sets
  • Implement campaign pixels and setup event tracking using Google Tag Manager
  • Work across both GA3 and GA4
  • Evaluate emerging technologies related to the Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager and provide recommendations where appropriate

Training & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree. Preferred focus in Marketing, Business Analytics, Data Science
  • Experience evaluating the performance of digital media channels, including SEO, paid search and paid social
  • Proficient in MS Excel, vLookups, pivot tables, data deduping, and formatting
  • Some knowledge of database and SQL is essential
  • Understanding of analytics tools, funnel tracking, and performance metrics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A team player with strong project management, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects, multiple channels and segments simultaneously in a cross-functional team
  • Understanding of the digital marketing and media landscape with a passion to continuously learn
  • Experience working with data from platforms like SEMRush, MOZ, Google Ads, Google Search Console and Facebook Ads is preferred
