Job Summary:

The Inbound Licensing Specialist I supports the onboarding activities for the Licensing Department by managing the pre-hire requirements for all incoming candidates in a licensed role. This position will work alongside the Onboarding Team and will serve as the main point of contact for all internal associates concerning background documentation and licensing requirements. The Inbound Licensing Specialist is responsible for ensuring all incoming candidates have met all department and industry requirements as they move through the recruiting process. This is a seasonal position to support the Annual Enrollment Period hiring season.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, results focused, and exemplary time management skills.

Essential Functions:

  • Work closely with recruiting, Onboarding, IT, and HR departments to ensure candidates have completed all pre-hire requirements to successfully start their first day of training.
  • Review legal documentation to ensure candidates are compliant with organizational policies and government regulations.
  • Create and service agent accounts using multiple operating systems including Sircon Producer Manager, SmartSheet, and SureLC.
  • Provide consistent high-level of customer service to both internal departments and external candidates.
  • Ensure candidates are moving through the onboarding process in a timely manner while maintaining a positive candidate experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong communication skills with ability to state messages in a clear manner.
  • Intellectual curiosity with an eagerness to learn and grow with role.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, and OneNote.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new information and apply knowledge learned.
  • Ability to consistently meet goals and deadlines, department standards for quality and productivity.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize various assigned tasks independently or with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to comprehend legal documentation.
  • Working knowledge of licensing process and associated requirements.

Training and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 6 to 12 months of relevant work experience OR demonstrated ability to meet job requirements.
