Job Summary:

This position will have full P&L responsibility and deliver Term Life Division growth goals by overseeing our Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations, and Case Management leadership teams. This role will be dedicated to working with their leaders to improve process, refine data and roll out new technology initiatives. The position will work with third party carriers and exam vendors to maintain and grow current relationships, explore opportunities to partner and improve process and add new partners. The position will work hand in hand with Data Analytics and IT along with our Operations leaders to implement process and technology to continuously improve the customer experience, increase conversion and decrease cycle time.

Essential Functions:

  • Experience managing a divisional P&L
  • Be comfortable with, and have experience with C-level conversations with both external partners and internal stakeholders
  • History of operational improvement through internal process and intense vendor management
  • History of scoping and implementing tech project optimizations
  • Deep History of Managing and Optimizing through data – lead efficient, accurate and timely data analysis efforts
  • Provides strategic direction for the Director and subordinate teams to:
    • Leverage data to help improve business processes
    • Analyze data, create appropriate output, and present succinct findings
    • Seek out data from multiple sources to create comprehensive views that can be used to drive decision making
  • Oversee division strategies and provide feedback to Managers and Directors
  • Ensure that cost efficiency goals are achieved through the utilization of company’s technology platform, design of improved processes and measurement and monitoring of key performance metrics
  • Work closely with sales, carrier partners and exam vendors to develop new partnerships to support operational and product initiatives
  • Continue to modify, as necessary, relevant and cost-effective compensation programs that motivate and reward associates and tie to company strategic goals
  • Help to develop and oversee a wide variety of quantitative and qualitative metrics ranging from quota attainment, activity levels, conversion/content effectiveness, quality, customer experience and others; recommend changes to executives as necessary
  • Participate in strategic planning regarding operations process, product roll outs and improvements and vendor opportunities

Training and Experience:

  • Strong Finance or analytical background
  • Experience with SQL and Excel
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully leading teams
  • Experience with high-growth businesses
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and build consensus at all levels of management
  • Bachelor’s degree required;
