Job Summary

The HR Technology Support Assistant provides tier-1 user support for multiple HR systems via the Service Desk ticketing system. This position will require high attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, technical aptitude, a keen awareness of HR data sensitivity, and the ability to work efficiently on multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of help desk or system administration experience, exposure to role-based system security, and familiarity with HR business processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages all technical inquiries in the Service Desk ticketing system related to HR system support
  • Performs user administration functions in multiple systems, including UKG Pro, the Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
  • Analyzes user information and system logs to troubleshoot issues
  • Assists new employees with login issues via phone and email
  • Safeguards sensitive user information

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Proficient in GSuite (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive)
  • Ability to juggle multiple administrative tasks while providing excellent customer service
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must display a high degree of confidentiality at all times
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and learn new technical applications quickly through self-study

Training and Experience

  • High school diploma required, bachelor's degree preferred
  • 6 months of experience working in help desk support or system administration required
  • Familiarity with role-based permissions and system security administration required
  • 6 months of experience working in a professional office environment preferred
  • Familiarity with HR business processes and HR data security preferred
