Job Summary:

The Director of Corporate Finance is part of a top-tier finance, accounting, and analytics team which supports business leaders and executives in their efforts to make decisions to implement strategies and operational improvements that enhance the Company’s performance. This intellectually curious individual will work with high integrity, intensity, and will communicate effectively with senior leaders in the organization.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • This position may oversee a small team of Financial Analysts.


  • Prepare analysis and research in such areas as financial and expense performance, rate of return, cash flow and liquidity, and debt covenant sensitivities
  • Maintain and own budget/forecasting process for Corporate division of SelectQuote, including multiyear P&L and variance analysis
  • Manage consolidated balance sheet and cash flow statement
  • Coordinate with broader finance team to distribute consolidated financial reporting on a monthly/quarterly basis
  • Prepare executive and external reporting including financial statements and operational KPI’s
  • Partner with business leaders to determine strategic operational or financial objectives and identify opportunities to meet those goals
  • Support treasury functions and, as needed, lead M&A and capital structure related modeling

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Expert proficiency in Excel; experience building and maintaining complex models
  • Deep understanding of accounting principles and the interaction between Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow
  • Proficiency in SQL and Cube-based reporting a plus
  • Desire to achieve high personal and team goals
  • Ability to manage and lead in a very fluid and high performing environment
  • Strong work ethic and competitive nature
  • Extremely articulate; strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills

Training and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related field)
  • MBA or CPA preferred
  • 7+ years of applicable finance and/or accounting experience
