SelectRX is a high touch, technology-driven specialized medication management pharmacy. We engage virtually with patients to ensure accurate prescription records are maintained in order to achieve improved prescription drug adherence. SelectRX does this by providing a personalized clinical approach driven by a robust technology platform to track adherence with a world-class pharmaceutical packing and distribution facility.

Job Summary

The Director of Pharmacy Systems will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of pharmacy management and operations systems at SelectRx. This is a critical role that will shape the technology roadmap and systems infrastructure to support SelectRx's pharmacy services nationwide.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design, build, test, and deploy new pharmacy systems and optimize existing systems. Systems may include order management, inventory management, claims adjudication, reporting/analytics, and more.
  • Partner with product, IT, operations, and business leaders to develop a technology vision and systems strategy aligned to business objectives. Identify opportunities for process and technology improvements.
  • Oversee system development lifecycle from conception to launch. Develop project plans, manage resources, oversee timelines and budgets.
  • Ensure new systems meet pharmacy regulatory, security, and compliance requirements. Stay up-to-date on pharmacy rules and regulations.
  • Monitor system performance metrics, identify issues, and implement solutions for optimal uptime and efficiency.
  • Develop and manage relationships with pharmacy system vendors. Evaluate potential vendor products and services.
  • Lead a team of pharmacy systems analysts/developers. Recruit technical talent, mentor team members, and foster a culture of excellence.

Education and Experience:

  • Registered pharmacist preferred and active pharmacy license in good standing
  • 5+ years overseeing pharmacy technology initiatives, ideally within a large pharmacy services company
  • Expert knowledge of pharmacy operations, workflows, and systems
  • Hands-on experience guiding development of pharmacy information systems
  • Strong project management and leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with both technical and non-technical colleagues

The Compensation for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. Individual pay decisions will depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location where work will be performed.

Successful candidates may be able to participate in one or more incentive compensation or short-term incentive plans, which could generate additional earnings in accordance with the terms of each plan.
