Job Summary:
The Pharmacy Trainer is responsible for assisting with the training of SelectRx Pharmacy Employees on an initial and ongoing basis. The PharmacyTrainer will help with content development, supervising, training, coaching and developing the skills of new and existing pharmacy staff members. Training should help employees be prepared to meet production goals and objectives, ensure patient satisfaction, improve processes and techniques, and ensure all company policies and procedures are adhered to.
Essential Functions:
- Participate in new hire training by teaching training classes
- Assist with employee hiring and interviews
- Consistent monitoring of employees in order to identify training needs and provide regular coaching
- Create, administer and assess tests and other employee evaluation criteria
- Participate in employee evaluations, coaching and discipline
- Ensure all company policies and procedures are consistently adhered to
- Meet pharmacy goals and objectives
- Develop and encourage company culture, team building and employee career development
- Note: Trainers may be required to work in production for their department when not directly needed for training.

Training and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED is required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
