Job Summary:

The HRIS Specialist provides system support for multiple cloud-based software applications, primarily the UKG Pro (UltiPro) HRIS/HCM and onboarding. This position will perform all activities associated with HR system administration (configuration, testing, documentation, reporting, implementation, user training, and access security). This individual will actively communicate with system users to troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analyses, implement fixes, work with cross-departmental subject matter experts to improve processes, increase automation, enhance user experience, and meet the business's strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience as a UKG Pro (UltiPro) system administrator or UKG client consultant, a familiarity with all HR business processes, and a passion for data accuracy and process efficiency.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support, configure, and administer the UKG Pro (UltiPro) HRIS and associated modules
  • Review, assess, and test upcoming system releases and enhancements
  • Participate in projects to implement new systems and HRIS interfaces
  • Maintain user access and safeguard confidential information
  • Run audits to maintain user access, resolve data issues, improve accuracy, and identify potential process enhancements and opportunities to automate
  • Support the HR Operations team with HRIS training, improvements, and root cause analyses
  • Document internal processes, training manuals, and controls
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Proficient in GSuite (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times and exercise a high level of discretion

Training and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, technology, business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience in a similar discipline required
  • 3 years of experience as a UKG Pro (UltiPro) system administrator, implementer, integrations analyst, subject matter expert, or consultant required
  • Experience with a variety of HR systems and technology required
  • Familiarity with role-based permissions and system security administration required
  • Experience as an active participant in an HRIS/HCM system implementation, migration, or data conversion preferred
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Excel (formulas, vlookups, pivot tables, macros) preferred

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
